New Water Pumps for all Tesla Models

Motorservice introduces three new electric water pumps suitable for all Tesla vehicle models to the aftermarket. The pumps are characterized by high compatibility. With the introduction of new products, Motorservice significantly expands its portfolio of spare parts for electric vehicles.

Significant Sales Potential

Three new cooling fluid pumps from Pierburg have been designed to replace all the cooling fluid pumps currently used in Tesla vehicles — a total of 14 different pumps in models 3, S, X, and Y. Depending on the model and equipment, earlier Tesla vehicles have up to five electric cooling fluid pumps installed. They are responsible for cooling electric motors and other components, such as the battery and the electronic power controller, in separate cooling circuits. They are replaced by two Pierburg articles 7.07223.08.0 and 7.07223.09.0.

Newer Tesla vehicles utilize two pumps in the distribution tank (“Super Manifold”), which together with a complex coolant control valve (“Octovalve”) create a full-value heat pump. Both electric cooling fluid pumps can be replaced by the Pierburg pump 7.07224.01.0. Altogether, the three Pierburg pumps provide a replacement solution for approximately 11.5 million pumps currently installed in about 4.5 million Tesla vehicles.

Smart Mounting Solution

The high level of compatibility is possible thanks to the universal mounting brackets included in the scope of delivery. The included brackets have several indents with clear mounting direction indicators. By aligning the protrusion on the pump with the corresponding indent on the bracket, it is easy to realize all mounting situations. Detailed installation information is included with all three pumps in the form of mounting instructions.
