The remanufacturer has eight product lines in its programme, bringing the total to more than 13,700 part numbers: Starters, alternators, air conditioning compressors, brake calipers, EGR valves, turbochargers, steering racks, and steering pumps. Available under the well-known brands Elstock, DRI, TMI and Lucas, they offer both a convincing price-performance ratio and a wide market coverage. Five of them can even supply a suitable spare part for well over 90 percent of all vehicles. Extensive warehousing and efficient logistics with several express warehouses furthermore ensure fast delivery – even overnight if required.

Ideally stocked for the winter

Another argument in favour of BORG Automotive: the company is often the first supplier in the aftermarket to provide an alternative to the original part. Only recently – and just in time for the winter business – the company added an alternator for VW Group vehicles to its range, which was previously only available as an original part. It covers more than one million vehicles in Europe. Another new addition to the portfolio and currently the only aftermarket alternative to the OE part is a new starter motor for almost one million Ford vehicles in Europe. Two new products that prove it: When it comes to stocking up for the winter, BORG Automotive is the ideal partner for the trade – and not only for classic winter service products such as brake calipers, alternators, or starters.

Better environmental footprint than new parts

Optimum quality, an excellent price-performance ratio, a wide range, and high availability: everything speaks in favour of remanufactured spare parts from BORG Automotive Reman. And there is an additional argument: on average, remanufacturing from BORG Automotive saves 60% CO2eq, 42% energy, and 70% raw materials compared to the production of a new original part, as life cycle assessments by Linköping University show. Reman parts from the Elstock, DRI, TMI, and Lucas brands therefore have a significantly lower environmental footprint than their new counterparts.
