NEXUS Automotive International launches SmartParts to optimize opportunities offered by the global aging car parc

NEXUS Automotive International is thrilled to introduce its new entity, SmartParts, which will manage the deployment of the DRIVE+ brand. SmartParts is the latest evolution of NEXUS’ service offer, created with the objective to complement its core focus on premium automotive brands, for the benefit of NEXUS suppliers.

Pascal Popis will assume the role of CEO.

SmartParts aims to:

  • Deploy DRIVE+, the exclusive brand of the N! members, which will quickly address the evolving aftermarket landscape globally. The organisation is committed to consolidating the current private brand purchases of the N! members and offer a regionally relevant approach to its members worldwide.
  • Leverage product development and sourcing capabilities in order to expand services within the N! network and support the ‘on-going’ evolution within the industry.
  • Develop transactional activities and provide NEXUS suppliers with new opportunities.

For 13 years he was responsible for the Business Unit of Philips/Lumileds Automotive Lighting including its OEM, Aftermarket and Digital activities across 32 locations globally. He was a co-founder and Managing Director of LMI GmbH, a start-up offering technical data and market intelligence to the automotive lighting industry.
