New Philips Ultinon Pro9200 Retrofits

26 Sep 2024

At this year’s Automechanika Frankfurt, Philips presented its latest retrofits. Once again, they push the boundaries of automotive lighting. These replacements for traditional halogen bulbs provide up to 400% more light! We remind you that these retrofits are also one of the smallest in their segment.

Generating brightness up to 400% greater than halogen bulbs, the new Philips Ultinon Pro9200 LED series provides exceptional visibility in all conditions. The unique, optimal spectrum provides better visibility of the road ahead and more clearly highlights road signs. Precise placement of LED chips in the bulbs directs light where it’s needed without dazzling oncoming vehicles, and Philips SafeBeam technology provides drivers with the best useful beam and non-dazzling pattern. The result is a bulb that inspires confidence, helping to drive with greater precision. To all these advantages, Philips Ultinon Pro9200 LED adds two more. Firstly – the new retrofits defrost headlights through the heat dissipation system. Secondly, they are offered at a lower price than the older U9100!

Excellent Visibility

With a color temperature of up to 5800 Kelvin, Philips Ultinon Pro9200 LED bulbs produce cool, white light that is exceptionally stylish while sharpening what’s on the road – for example, improving the visibility of road signs.

Ultra-compact Design

Technological product development means that the Philips Ultinon Pro9200 series has a smaller, more compact size than its predecessor. With this design, installing the new bulb is faster and easier than ever before, even in the narrowest headlights. Replacing bulbs with Philips Ultinon Pro9200 retrofits is therefore no more complicated than a regular old bulb replacement.

Designed for Durability

An additional advantage of the latest Philips retrofits is their long lifespan. It has been estimated by the manufacturer at 5000 hours. Philips Ultinon Pro9200 is equipped with technology that increases durability thanks to dual heat management systems AirBoost and AirCool+, which produce constant light throughout the bulb’s lifetime. The new series also has an IP55 protection rating against dust ingress and splashing to meet the rigors of modern automotive. Further emphasizing Philips’ commitment to long-term quality, a 5-year warranty is available, covering standard 2-year protection and an optional additional 3 years (detailed information about extended warranties can be found at Philips.com/auto-warranty).
