MotoFocus on the Great Maluch Expedition – Join Us in Supporting a Noble Cause!
We are pleased to announce that MotoFocus Group will actively participate in the charitable project known as the Great Maluch Expedition. We will not only keep you informed about its progress but also personally participate alongside well-known figures in the automotive industry!
What is the Great Maluch Expedition 2024?
In early July, the second edition of the Great Maluch Expedition will kick off, a charitable project where automotive enthusiasts, prominent sports drivers, and influencers will drive through several countries in Fiat 126p cars. This year’s expedition will feature 80 teams covering a total distance of 3200 km. A total of 110 vehicles (including the technical support prepared by Q Service Castrol) will depart from Warsaw, travel through Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Croatia, before taking a ferry to Italy and reaching the finish line at Monte Cassino.
At the starting line (and probably the finish line), there will be many well-known names in the automotive industry, including Sobiesław Zasada, Kajetan Kajetanowicz, Rafał Sonik, Maciej Wisławski, Longin Bielak, and Bartosz Ostałowski. One of the Maluch cars will be driven by ReZi, or Remigiusz Wierzgoń, a widely known YouTuber.
The MotoFocus Group will be represented by two individuals during the expedition. Alongside Bartosz Ostałowski – the world’s only professional drifter driving with his foot – our editor Witold Hańczka will join the ride. The presidents’ team will consist of Maciej Oleksowicz, President of Inter Cars SA, and Alfred Franke, President of MotoFocus Group.
A Noble Cause – We Encourage Support
The Great Maluch Expedition is a charitable and social endeavor. It aims to draw attention to road safety issues, educate the younger generation about responsible road participation, and assist children who, as a result of accidents, require care in terms of rehabilitation, therapy, and psychological support. To this end, a fundraising campaign has been organized.
This year’s goal is more ambitious than the previous year, with organizers aiming to raise as much as one million euros. This is quite achievable, considering the long list of project partners and the interest the expedition generates. Anyone can contribute to achieving this ambitious goal by donating any amount to the fundraiser. Until June 28, a contest is being held on the fundraising site, where participants can win an entry to the start of the expedition and meet its participants.
