One of our customers who owns a 2013 Mercedes-Benz Citan complains of non-functioning exterior lights, indicators, windshield washers and wipers, and an audio signal. No fault codes were stored in any of the control computers. We did a basic wire check, but all the fuses are working properly. We held off on replacing the components in case it turned out that a software update would fix the problem. Please help us with this problem.
Answer: We suspect that the described malfunction is most likely caused by a defect in the steering column function control computer. The fault affects certain Citan models manufactured up to 31.05.2014. Install the new steering column function control computer, located behind the dashboard storage compartment (fig. 1.1.). This should fix the problem.
