Innovative and sustainable: Hengst Filtration presents new products at Filtech

17 Mar 2022

The international filter specialist Hengst Filtration took part in a trade show for the first time after a lengthy hiatus due to the Coronavirus pandemic. At Filtech 2022 in Cologne, the family operated company based in Münster presented diverse new products and innovative filtration solutions together with the subsidiaries Delbag, Nordic Air Filtration and Hengst Filtration (formerly Bosch Rexroth). “We are very pleased to have been able to meet numerous customers in person and present our products to them after a long period of hard times,” says Peter Wink, Group Vice President Filtration for Industry and Environment at Hengst.

The new products included for example a sustainable easy-change filter concept for all flat pleated filters, which substantially reduces the need for replacement and servicing, as well as waste. This is achieved by eliminating the need to replace the entire filter cartridge as in conventional systems – instead, only the filter element has to be replaced. That prevents not only unnecessary waste, but also lessens environmental impact. For the base material Hengst uses recycled plastic, which likewise conserves resources.

Also new to the Hengst product range are filters for air purifiers that protect the home and professional environments against dust, viruses, bacteria and allergens, in order to ensure maximum hygienic safety. An example of intelligent function integration is the EASE dust management system for vacuum cleaners, which uses very low differential pressure to achieve maximum suction power together with a substantially longer battery life.
