New Engine Oil from Castrol
Castrol introduces a new low-viscosity engine oil for use in a wide range of Peugeot, Citroën, DS, and Opel vehicles. Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-20 FE has been developed for petrol and diesel engines introduced from 2018, for which the manufacturer recommends the use of PSA B71 2010 oil. The new lubricant also complies with ACEA C5/C6 and API SP industry specifications.
Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-20 FE will enable servicing of a significant number of vehicles with 1.2 PureTech and 1.5 BlueHDi engines, including Peugeot 208, 2008, and 308 models, Citroën C3, C3 Aircross, and C4, as well as DS3 and DS3 Crossback. It is also compatible with Opel vehicles equipped with 1.2 Turbo and 1.5 diesel engines, including Corsa F, Crossland, Mokka, Astra K, and Grandland models.
By stocking Castrol MAGNATEC 0W-20 FE, service centers can simplify inventory management and achieve compatibility with nearly 40% of all cars of these brands in selected European markets.
Castrol MAGNATEC has been developed to meet the unique demands of modern driving. The greatest engine wear – up to 75% – occurs at the start of driving, with further wear occurring when cars accelerate, decelerate, and idle during city driving.
The latest product in the MAGNATEC range is available for service centers in various packaging sizes, including 60, 208, and 1000 liters.
