Successful FAAS General Assembly and Inaugural FAAS Sustainability Day
FAAS General Assembly Highlights
During their General Assembly meeting, held on November 16 In Bologna, Members of FAAS demonstrated their dedication to the cause and commitment to driving positive change in the automotive aftermarket by voting in favor of the creation of an international non-profit association dedicated to advancing sustainability in the automotive aftermarket sector.
The next steps in the development of FAAS will be to officially register it as an International Non-Profit Association under Belgian law in early 2024 and to elect the first Board of Directors.
FAAS opens its doors to new members
In the coming period, the FAAS Secretariat will be committed to actively expanding its membership base, reaching out to potential new members who share the association’s mission to co-create the sustainable automotive aftermarket sector.
“By being part of the FAAS, you have the opportunity to collectively work towards a robust and sustainable vision for the future of the aftermarket industry. Together, we will lead the sector towards the forefront of sustainable practices and set new trends,” said Laurence Eeckhout, FAAS coordinator on behalf of FIGIEFA.
FAAS Sustainability Day Highlights
The inaugural FAAS Sustainability Day took place on November 17, during the Futurmotive trade fair in Bologna. The event featured five substantive sessions. Over 20 experts took the stage to share insights, experiences, and strategies for fostering sustainability within the automotive aftermarket. The event garnered widespread acclaim, with attendees expressing their appreciation for the informative presentations and the valuable opportunities for networking and informal discussions.
FAAS Sustainability Day was deemed a resounding success, building the new association’s position as a key player in driving sustainability initiatives within the automotive aftermarket.
